How to Install and Configure WordPress on Local Host?
After installing WordPress, a blog was created. And it is very easy to install.
- Create a directory / folder named “tutorial” on htdocs (your localhost / development server) and extract the downloaded WordPress zip (latest.zip) there. You will find an extracted folder named “WordPress”. Enter this folder and cut it and paste it into “tutorial”. The diameter was first on localhost/tutorial/WordPress and now on the localhost/tutorial, nothing more. You will find the contents of the “tutorial” directory as shown below.
- Let’s create a database. Let’s name it tut_db if you do not know how to create a database then watch this tutorial.
- Now go to the “tutorial” directory and rename the wp-config-sample.php file as wp-config.php. Or if you want to create a file called wp-config.php without renaming and pasting all the contents of wp-config-sample.php. Open this file “DB_NAME”, “DB_USER” and “DB_PASSWORD” (lines 1,222,20) respectively, database names (tut_db), database user names (root) and database passwords (localhost contains all database passwords)Will give.
- Now Http:// localhost/tutorial will start installing in the browser. First, a long list of languages will appear as an option in which language to set up the site. Complete the form below (you can enter your desired information) and click the “Install WordPress” button.
Once installed the diameter will show the single success and the “Login” button below will appear. When you click on Login, the login form will come to the WordPress form admin panel when you log in with the user name and password you entered.
WordPress Admin Panel:
This is the admin panel, this is the backend of your site. From here, if you want to see the front-end of the site, you can click the “Visite Site” link if you hover your mouse over the home icon above, click here. How to Install and Configure WordPress on C-Panel?
Process 1: Log to your C-Panel Account:
You can log in to your cPanel account by typing www.example.com/cpanel on your browser thinking ‘example.com’ is the primary domain name connected with your hosting account. Then, enter your username and password that you received from your web hosting provider when you set up an account with them as given below.
Process 2: Locate Softaculous apps installer:
On the next screen, you will view the Cpanel dashboard, locate the text box that shows, “Find functions quickly by typing here:” Just enter the name ‘Softaculous’. The script installer will be displayed below together with all apps that it maintains. Click ‘WordPress’ and proceed as given below:
Process 3: Choose a protocol and a domain name:
On the next screen, you will see a short description of the WordPress version that you are about to install on your website, click on the button labeled ‘Install’. You will be taken to the ‘Software Setup’ page as given below:
Process 4: Fill WordPress site settings details:
Now, you will view your website settings as shown below:
Enter the name of your site and a short description. Then, choose an admin username, password, and email. You will need these details to log in to your WordPress admin panel, so keep a strong password. Select your preferred language and scroll down to proceed.
Process 5: Choose plugins and a theme:
The next screen displays an option where you can install some plugins (this is optional), then choose your desired theme. Remember to supply your email address one more on the text box that reads, “>Email installation details to”. Finally, click on the ‘Install’ button.

You will then be taken to the congratulations screen as shown below and email with your WordPress installation details will be sent to the address that you entered above:

Process 6: Test the Installation
Log in to your WordPress site by typing the administrative URL e.g. http://www.example.com/wp-admin/
Your installation is now complete and you will be taken directly to your WordPress dashboard as given below:
